Asian Mahogany is highly durable dark tanned wood. The wood has a low luster brown leather like color with mostly straight grain. The texture is moderately coarse.

Asian Mahogany has a color range from light reddish brown to dark brown, sometimes with purple tint. Overtime, the wood will darken to deep brown color.

Asian Mahogany is a very stable wood as compare to Red Oak.
